Club Salsero   

I have been to Colombia, that is where I am from. And definitely this is the place that is closer to home then any other Club in Houston. The music and ambiance makes me feel like in Cali, Colombia. Great place to visit either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Saturday being the crowdest night but any night is great to visit. Keep up the good work Club Salsero!!!!!

Sir or Maam we have been in business since 1991. We have 2 Sherriff's, 2 security guards, and 2 bouncers working in our business every Friday and Saturday nights. If you arrive around 10:00 pm yes the doors are locked because the security guards and sherriff's do not get there until 10:30 pm or so. Therefore we do not let anyone inside because the security guards will search purses, and pad down men and women(We have a woman security guard for the women) to make sure there are no weapons inside. In the other hand, if we know the person that is waiting outside we will let them in. If we do not know you then unfortunately will have to wait until the security guards are present. Our Club has many regulars that already know the rules, and know when to arrive. We do have a late crowd. Everyone starts getting to the Club after 11:00 pm anyways. As far as the club being a drug center I don't know what you base your facts on. Like I said we have Sherriff's on the premises so I don' t think we will be doing something "Illegal" if we have officers on duty. You said something about being racist, etc on your comment. I think you are the one being racist and stereotyping "Colombians, or hispanics" in your comment. Just because we didn't know you and didn't let you in the club before the security guards get there doesn't give you the right to judge us. And the doors are remained unlocked after the guards are there. You are more than welcome to come after 11:00 pm and you will see the difference. I am one of the owners and do not get there until after 11:00 pm.
