Upscale and intimate, The Davenport pours 60 single malt Scotches, 50 specialty and award-winning martinis, and 35 vodkas. Known for some of the best-made drinks in the city, The Davenport has won both Texas Restaurant Association and Houston Press people's choice awards for Best Martini. The atmosphere is '50s cool with local artwork always on display and separate areas featuring a video aquarium and a video fireplace. The bar draws a good singles crowd throughout the week and live DJs spin during Tastylick every Wednesday 9PM to close.
