Housed in a featureless one-story former office building on a bend in the road, The Flat is easy for the uninitiated to miss. Inside, it's a much different story. Colorful, bustling, and full of young Houston trendsetters, this place is anything but boring. Frozen mojitos are the drinks of choice, perfect for washing down any of the interesting Caribbean/Mediterranean-inspired snacks. Patrons get an eyeful of local art from Koelsch Gallery while lounging on the cozy couches. DJ Sun spins on Mondays; other nights may feature guest DJs or any variety of deep house, reggae, drum-and-bass, or soul tunes.
