When diners enter the 100-year-old log cabin which houses the Rainbow Lodge, they encounter the warm interior hosting antique hunting and fishing collectibles and three fireplaces. Creek views, a casual bar and outdoor spaces are also available to guests. Once seated, diners are welcome to order Lobster and Yellow Tomato Risotto, Wild Game like Venison or Duck, or any other of the dishes offered on the menu. Lunchers may find a lighter menu during the week and Sunday brunchers enjoy 99 cent Mimosas or Champagne. A monthly outdoor wine series invites guests to several wine values and food available different stations.

The NEW Lodge at Bayou Bend
Happy to say the new owners of the new/old Lodge at Bayou Bend have created an even better restaurant! Better food, better wine, better service, better attitude... and a new look with lovely art on the walls, not dead stuffed animals staring down on you while you eat your Buffalo steak! And they have wisely added a super terrace over the bayou! You can have your dinner under the stars and watch the alligators in the bayou, not stuffed and mounted on the wall! The Lodge at Bayou Bend is a wonderful new location, romantic and delicious~

The new "Lodge" at Birdsall should not be confused with the well established "Rainbow Lodge" that was abruptly asked to leave by the owner of the property after being there 25+ years b/c he fancies himself a restauranteur now.
