First, it was music and fashion; now even nightclubs are going retro. Giant yellow smiley faces and lava lamp-like signage can be seen at every turn at Have A Nice Day Cafe, reinforcing the club's name in simple, colorful visuals. The club's music mix is predominately '70s and '80s, but don't try walking in wearing a tee shirt and parachute pants or scraggly cut-off jeans. The cafe's dress code bans said clothing articles. Located near Circle Center Mall, Have a Nice Day attracts droves of the fun-seeking twentysomethings and is one of the city's busier night spots.
