The value-priced meals at the ram aren't the only thing that keep families and couples coming back for more. With an airy, yet cozy feel, handcrafted beers and friendly service, the pub seems to always give guests what they strive to: "quality, value and fun." The Ram offers DJs, dancing and karaoke in addition to an extensive menu. For starters, sample from The Ram's appetizer menu, featuring crab and artichoke dip, coconut shrimp and firecracker salmon rolls. Still hungry? Move on to a cup of Ram's clam chowder. Salads, burgers and pastas are all satisfying, but you'll want to take advantage of the house "comfort food" specials -- barbecued baby back ribs, Tuscan-style meatloaf, Big Horn fajitas and pan-seared peppercorn medallions. Of course, all of this can be enjoyed with a selection of lagers, ales and true German-style hefeweizens. -- Allison Bloom

The Ram is digusting. We ordered the Crab Dip appetizer and noticed that the bread was moldy!! There was a green spot about half an inch wide on one piece. Our waitress was rude and manager Cam or Cameron never apologized to us about serving moldy bread.

The bartender Mac and the Mgr. Cameron make you feel right at ease in this wonderful beer establishment. Try the wheat beer. It's the best in Indy. I always stop at the Ram when I'm in Indy. Nice size food portions and HUGE desserts.

Do not waste your money. This was the worst restaurant we have been to downtown. The food was overpriced, cold and greasy. The portions were small and the only time we saw a waitress was to take our order and to give us the bill. There were only two tables with people when we arrived and we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. On top of the horrible service, the beer was awful.

David Allen makes the place! He is by far a great host with a wonderful personality. Worth the trip just to meet him.
