Affectionately known as the 'Brown County Bluesman,' Gordon Bonham and his band return to the Slippery Noodle. Bonham plays what he describes as 'Blues Top 40,' a mix which includes tunes by Muddy Waters, B.B. King and Buddy King. The band also plays original material from a growing musical catalogue which includes an album entitled 'Low Down and Blue.' Bonham grew up dabbling in jazz and blues, but decided to pursue a musical career after graduating from college. Prior to assembling and fronting his own band, Bonham played with the likes of Bo Diddley, Craig Brenner, Brian Lappin, and Kenny Aronoff. One of Bonham's personal highlights came at the Grand Opening of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, where he played alongside the legendary Robert Lockwood Jr.
