Palm trees? Check. Flaming volcanoes? Check. Seaside table for four? OK, so it's not exactly the South Pacific, but this metaphorical island oasis on South Meridian is a pleasant escape from the Midwest doldrums. Tiki Bob's has a reputation for being a high-energy dance club, spinning top tunes from the '70s to today. For diners, the Maui-Mex menu offers a unique cuisine. The signature Black Bean Soup and Polynesian marinades and salsas make for spicy pre-meal munchables. Seared Yellow Fin Tuna with Mango-Roasted Pepper Relish is a favorite entree selection, but it doesn't afford much room for dessert. Those with smaller appetites might want to consider choosing one of Tiki's Hula Wraps. Served with jasmine rice and black beans and filled with either tangy marinated steak or chicken, the wraps mix nicely with a Flaming Volcano or any of Tiki's other assorted island drinks.
