Chatterbox Jazz Club   

This narrow and cozy downtown joint features a bar and dining area, a small stage up front and great jazz every night of the week. The intimate Chatterbox accommodates about 60 diners inside, with room for 25 more at the sidewalk tables out front. You might like to stroll over after catching a show across the street at the Murat Theater to wind down with a cocktail and some live tunes. Local and regional bands fill the bill each night, and legend Wynton Marsalis once swung in for a late-night jam session after a Murat gig. Yes, the Chatterbox has a stellar reputation as a happening joint. Mick Jagger even made a special trip here after a 1989 Stones show in Indy. The Chatterbox has an extensive selections of beers and wines, and the last Wednesday of each month features a beer and wine tasting.
