Nordstrom   

Just tried this place for the first time today awaiting a flight. It's a decent price point, at least for Nordstrom's. My chicken special with spinach and polenta--the chicken decorated with an amaretto pan sauce--was about $11, my buttery Chardonnay, $6. Not terribly bad. And the food wasn't either. That's not to say it was excellent; the pan sauce was a bit overly sweet and somewhat goopey. The polenta wasn't bad--not too soupy, not as firm as my personal preferences would have preferred. Still, it was good, and went well with the garlicky, pan-cooked spinach. My co-diner mentioned the asparagus in his crabcake salad was tasty. Oh, and I almost forgot. The bread basket they bring out has scones as well as little rolls. I like that diversity. The sweet-spiked butter, not so much. Too much. As for decoration, the place is much paneled with wood.
