One of the city's finest hotels, the Omni Severin has its share of secrets. Built in 1913 and featuring 424 room and suites (some with walk-out balconies -- rare in downtown Indy), the hotel includes two Presidential suites, which have marble entries, a pair of bedrooms and dining tables for six. The Get Fit rooms have their own portable treadmills. The hotel is also home to Hot Tuna. A terrific eatery specializing in fresh fish, the restaurant often slips under the local radar. Hint: Try to time your dining to to avoid pre-RCA Dome game crowds. Fru-fru services abound. The hotel offers a choice of down, feather or foam pillows. Olives, the lobby martini bar, boasts of 16 premium vodkas and a humidor displaying 38 carefully selected cigars. If we had to choose a place for house arrest, this would be it. You'd swear that the management didn't want you to have any reason to leave the building. -- Cindy Harry
