Rate and Write a Review The Indianapolis Art Center is a not-for-profit arts educational facility. Designed by renowned Indiana architect Michael Graves, the IAC has eight exhibition spaces, allowing for over 30 shows a year. It also houses 13 studios (including one for glass-blowing), a 224-seat auditorium, gift shop, library and resource center. The center's talented staff members teach over 160 art classes for all ages throughout the year. If you can't get to the IAC, it will come to you via video distance learning programs and ArtReach. Professional artists appear at churches, community centers and family centers, spreading art education throughout the city. The IAC hosts concerts, films and perennial activities like the Broad Ripple Art Fair, which features work by over 225 artists each spring. It also offers a very popular art camp during the summer for elementary school children. -- Mary Pappas
