The Eagle's Nest Restaurant, the only revolving rooftop restaurant in Indianapolis, is conveniently located downtown with an astonishing view of our city's skyline. The staff will tend to all of your wishes with a creative, inspired menu that features Filet Mignon, Crab Crusted Halibut, and a Grilled Artichoke Risotto. This one of a kind restaurant is a must for a unique get together or a romantic evening.

Wonderful city restraunt.

It reminded me of seattle's space needle. Used to stay at the "other" Indy hotel, never again. I love the short walk from my room to a first rate meal. Don't have to drive and park, take a walk on the rain to get there. So what if you pay, I will never again have to live cheap, and cook in a motel room.

Absolutely horrible
By terrapin72 on 06/20/2005
After going to St. Elmo's the night before (which was fantastic, btw) - we decided to try something different, and the menu of Eagles Nest looked to be quite the ticket. Boy were we wrong. The view of Indianapolis was quite nice, the decor was that horrible "hotel fantastic" of ugly carpeting, conference room seating, and bad wood trim. The server was friendly enough, but the food was absolutely terrible. The Filet stuffed with bleu cheese, was WAY overcooked and required actually sawing hard into it with a knife in order to cut it. The lasagna - which I had hoped would be a different take on the dish - tasted like frozen dinner italian food...horribly hard pasta, and the meat sauce tasted like the lowest brand of out-of-the jar badness. The biggest insult? The price - dinner for two was $150. The trashy lasagna alone was a $35 entree. The wine by the glass, at a bad temperature no less, was a very small pour as well. Many better choices in this city as this price point, St. Elmos, Palomino, even the Marriot restaurant bested this debacle of an experience. Stay away.
