Mac Nivens Restaurant   

I go to McNivens a few times every year and have found the food to be inconsistent, sometimes quite good sometimes very poor. The servers and general attitude is usually quite poor and can even be borderline rude. Several times I have ordered a beer and been brought what I was told was the "equivalent". Ambience is typical of what an American thinks is an "authentic" scottish bar. In reality, Mc Nivens is just a typical American sports bar as far as ambiance goes.

I went here to eat for lunch one afternoon and my food was cold. I asked the server to bring out another sandwich, the owner Stewart came out and he was very rude. He refused to fix the problem and called me a bitch.. My co-workers and I ate here all the time for lunch, but will NEVER go back. The owners are very rude, all they had to do was fix the sandwich. DONT EAT HERE!!!!!!! Bad customer service.

Great food, Great beer, Great service, Great American sports! I don't see the problem? ...so a few beers were out of stock, there were PLENTY more great ones to choose from! the food was outstanding! I went with the salmon salad and it was perfect!!! Thanks to the owners for opening such a great restaurant in such a great area! I'll be back for more today! ..did someone say chicken curry????
