Ratings?

I only lived in europe for about three years? Seattle for ten plus? So I am not really much of an expert on this. Was about as perfect as it could get? Well, If I was a guest on a T.V. cooking show it would have been better? The waiter did sort of hover around us. The reason is he spoke with a mixed europeian accent, think it was Italian? Not sure it was a mix of two languages with english as the third.

Still one of Best!

In spite of comments from the NY/NJ "expert" it still is one of the best in downtown Indy. Service is still of high standard and it offers a very good/dersified menu. I've had some bad meals and terrible service on his turf.

Highly overrated
By dreamrid on 03/07/2007
Coming from the NY/NJ area I am shocked that this restaurant has survived in the prominent downtown location that it has. The service was mediocre at best on top of being arrogant, with the waiter hovering and impatient to take our order the second we sat down to then disappearing for a half hour to an hour on end after the entree was served, delaying dessert/coffee and surprisingly even check. My asparagus was burnt and inedible and the sugar coating on my creme brulee was also burnt. Both items should never even have made it out of the kitchen. I regret not insisting the waiter take them back. However, on the plus side, and only reason I gave it two stars - the fillet medallions were enjoyable. Despite having reserved a table we still had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated (while exposed to the cold draft of everyone coming in and out of the restaurant), which was overlooked easily in the beginning, but only adds now to the disappointing experience. The overall temperature control in the building was poor and the atmosphere so loud we had to raise our voices to hear one another at a two-person table. In my opinion this restaurant has no business taking up valuable downtown real estate. For a $100+ meal just about every aspect of this restaurant needs improvement.

Very Nice!

We had reservations for Thursday night and were seated right away. Our waiter, Gabriel was very attentive and helpful with choosing from the menu. the appetizers, food and drinks were wonderful. For the restaurant being so busy, our glasses were always full and constantly checked in on. The prices were affordable. Only problem is parking, so arrive at least 30 minutes before your reservation so you can find somewhere to park and walk to the restaurant.
