St. Elmo Steak House has been a landmark in downtown Indianapolis since 1902. It is the oldest Indiana restaurant in its original location & has earned a national reputation for its excellent steaks, seafood, chops & professional service. We happily accommodate special requests; please call the restaurant directly. Reservations that are eight or larger will receive a 20% Gratuity. All reservations will be held for 15 minutes.

Loved it!
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and they made us feel special from the moment we arrived. I loved the navy bean soup and my husband got the salad and it was good as well. The bread is very good...my husband loved it. Our steaks were amazing and the mashed potatoes were delicious. They also gave us dessert for free for our anniversary and it was amazing! It was this chocolate cake with hot melted fudge in the middle.
