The best horseradish sauce I have ever tasted. All steaks are the prime of steaks. The service is outstanding.

I love St Elmo's! The filet mignon is to die for! It's a pricier restaurant, so we don't make it a weekly experience, but it has to be my favorite place to eat in this city.

DO NOT MISS !!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Charleston, S.C. which is a primarily a tourist location. One of the biggest perks is we have some of the finest resturaunts in the nation. I am married to the ultimate " steak and potatoes" man and I can speak with authority that this was an extrodinarily wonderful place to have a devine meal. Living on the coast I have a policy of never eating seafood in the inland, but my hosts insisted, so I was treated to the delightful surprise of a spicy flavorful shrimp cocktail! (They must import from our local waters.) I find waitors tend to give what they get attitude wise. The atmosphere was warm, old, elegant without being snooty. Be sure to review their brilliant expansive (and expensive) wine list to make the meal an especially memorable experiance!

If you cook at home, everything is always cheaper. I paying for the service, and a night out. Love it, every thime I have gone. The servers are slightly cold at first. With as maney tables as they have. It would interfer with all the other dinners, chatting on both sides of them. Ever notice how maney always go?
