Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon   

You can do better... but what more can you expect from a franchised restaurant? Service is only as good as the college kids' mood. The food is usually adequate, except the time we ordered chicken which ended up tasting like oven cleaning chemicals. It's my opinion the prices are too high for the food. Did lunch there once, and the non-smoking section reaked of stale cigarettes. There's too many other decent restaurants nearby, so it's not likely I'd return to the Lone Stool.

Poor food and poor service

this Lone Star is by far the best of all of the location I have been to in the state of Iowa.Maybe needs some work on the service end , but most of the employees are of college age and not really professional servers. The food though is better than any other steakhouse in eastern Iowa. Check it out... on the Coralville strip near the U of I baseball/softballl diamonds.
