Summit Restaurant & Bar   

It's the place to go if you want to hang out with a bunch of dousch bags. the food is fairly good, and the downstairs is an ok place to chill if it isn't too crowded. But the upstairs area is full of all sorts of trash.

i've never ordered food or bought my own drinks from the summit, but i have to say that the summit is my FAVORITE place to go dancing! it has an open area downstairs to socialize, and a nice comfortable dance area upstairs with mirrors so you can make sure your still looking good after all that dancing ;)!

Using reality tv people to boost your sales is pretty lame ,and also allowing minors to drink in the bar gives this bar an immature frat boy setting.

The Summit is the worst place to go in Iowa City if you want good service. Once I got a spider in my salad and the waitress made no kind of apology, just said "so what?"; another time we paid and waited for 15 minutes for the change before we flagged another waitress. We found that the girl just clocked out and left with our cash! The waitstaff spoiles what could be an ok meal. Ambiance is great downstairs.
