excellent

I spent a month in Thailand and I have a friend whose parents are from Thailand so I am no stranger to authentic Thai food. This is the real deal. Anyone who says this isn't real Thai food has no idea what real Thai food is. It is excellent.

Disappointed
By ronferguso on 11/12/2007
Thai food is noted for its fresh ingredients and artful presentation. I was very disappointed when the food was served in very plain steel bowls, no garnish, nothing that would indicate that it was Thai except for the name....the food actually reminded me of Chineese and the deal was sealed when I was presented with a fortune cookie in a Chineese package with my bill. The place had an attractive appearance....but no class. Sorry Jackson....I have been to Thailand. This is not it.

WOW!

I am a huge asian food fan and I have felt for a long time that choices in jackson for good food are quite limited. I have been a big fan of Thai house, a locally, family owned place and I am even more excited now that they have moved to the old moe's location across from the cherokee. They make everything from scratch and the food is authentic. Thai is generally spicy and I prefer ordering my dishes mild. They do offer a variety of "safe" (boring) food for kids or your prudish aunt, but I would recommend the panaeng with gai (chicken) or the tom kai soup with coconut milk. Both dishes are super, and I always start with moo satay, sweet marinated cucumbers and peanut sauce!- I hope that this foodies opinion has been helpful.
