Tokyo Japanese Restaurant   

My husband and I LOVE sushi. We used to frequent another popular sushi restaurant in Jackson, but were very much unpleased with their customer service. For a while we ate at that restaurant because there simply wasn't a better sushi restaurant in Jackson. A few friends of ours recommended we try Tokyo. We had seen it and had been skeptical, mostly because of location, and we didn't really like trying sushi unless someone could vouch for it. So, we took our friends' word and found that it was DELICIOUS! The rolls are creative (one of my favorites has sweet potato tempura on the outside, the "Crazy Roll"). I have tried many of the rolls on the menu, and from spicy to fried, mellow to flavor overload, they are well made, well priced, and delightfully filling. While the food has gone above our expectations the most important thing to us is that the service is so great! Kim, one of the owners will greet you with a smile, and make you feel right at home...in Japan. :) Additionally, something very unique to Tokyo is their seating. If you would like to experience something really fun, try sitting in their traditional Japanese dining room. Get a group of friends together and sit "Indian" style around a table, drink Saki and talk all night! The restaurant is clean, the food is creative and delicious and the service is outstanding. Give it a shot! You won't regret it.
