They call it Art Bar because of the original artwork that decorates the walls, but as patrons of this Riverside joint will tell you, painting isnt the only kind of art youll encounter. First theres the music. Art Bar features some of the city's best DJs spinning old wave, lounge and disco (depending on the night). Then, theres dance. With one of the coolest dance floors in town (the light-up kind, a la 'Saturday Night Fever'), Art Bar even coaxes shy dancers from their chairs. Finally, theres the art of the pickup. Art Bars casual neighborhood atmosphere (not to mention daily drink specials) make it ripe for patrons to strike up a conversation sitting at the bar -- and to discover the art of the brush-off. -- Kerry Speckman

thursday nights are a blast at the artbar aside from the snobby little girls whose outfits keep mysteriously getting smaller and smaller but they are fun to make fun of so i guess ill live. if you like indie rock thursday is the night to go.

I really love this place.If you want to drink some beer and have a good time this is the place to go.Saturdays rock.
