Metro   

i sit here and read the reviews from the other customers of the metro and i am so disappointed. i am a lesbian and i have taken many of my straight friends into the club so we were able to share a night out together. i am thankful to have a club in jacksonville that supports both communities. from the club to the show the metro is a wonderful experiance. i hope you guys keep up the good work. it is a shame that a club or any place for that matter has to be labeled "gay" or "straight".

I AM SO PROUD TO HAVE SUCH A GREAT CLUB IN JACKSONVILLE......I TRAVEL ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND HAVE YET TO FIND A NIGHT-CLUB WITH SO MANY DIFFERENT VENUES UNDER ONE ROOF...A GREAT SHOW BAR, A ROMANTIC PIANO BAR, A NON SMOKING LOUNGE!!! NOT TO FORGET THE BEST DISCO IN THE SOUTH, ALONG WITH A HOT LEATHER BAR, AND OF COURSE, POOL TABLES...THERE IS EVEN A QUIET ROOM TO SIT AT BISTRO TABLES AND CHAT, ALONG WITH AN OUT-SIDE PATIO. JACKSONVILLE, BE PROUD OF "THE METRO", AS THERE IS NON LIKE IT ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE COUNTRY.... AND THANKS FOR A SECURE PARKING LOT!

Metro is definitely the best gay club in Jax, with good facilities, and a mix of gay people. Unfortunately there are also too many non-gay people these days. This is not meant to be prejudiced, but the whole world is straight, so it is annoying to see scared straight men holding onto women tightly as they go through the club. A gay club should be, well, gay.The other big problem is that the club is only really busy on Saturday nights after 11:30. 3D retains its hold on Friday nights, and although it tries, I have not heard of Metro really getting its act together midweek.

Gay bar?! I was there on Saturday night and it was full of freaks and straights. It's worth the two hour drive to Orlando to go out because this place is pathetic. Somebody need to come here and show these people what a gay club is all about. :)
