You can describe the decor of Sherwoods in three words: Clowns, clowns, clowns (the bars late owner, Sherwood, used to be one). Despite the tacky decor, Sherwoods truly is a Jacksonville institution and one worth checking out. A favorite with the hospitality crowd, Sherwoods is full of younger patrons who love to party. At the bar, youll find a host of colorful regulars, who are only too happy to prattle on and on -- even after you walked away 10 minutes ago. Highlights: One of the best jukeboxes around and the best shooter in town (Hollywood). -- Kerry Speckman

used to be good..
now it sucks....back when sherwood was alive or running it, it was the best bar in san marco...now it blows....the hole damn place has gone down....the tubes. only reason i would want it to stay open is to keep all there patrons there instead of where i run to!!!!!!!!

I grew up going to this bar and it has always been alot of fun. The drinks are always good and the coldest beer in town. Looking for fun go here!!!!

The first round gives you bang for your buck, but after that take the money elsewhere unless you drink fast and cant tell that your getting ripped off instead of ripped. Other than that is a nice place to have 1 drink and play a game of pool before going out.

Sherwoods is my stop 4 out of 7 days a week. Great place to chill after work or after play. Unlike smiles I've only been going there for a few months but I have to say Thanks to Kathy for watching out for us fools:o)
