Premier Adult Dining
Ruth's Chris has never failed deliver! Every staff member encountered has a smile and no request is ignored. The best steak I have ever eaten anywhere was Ruth's Chris in Jacksonville. I've been to several other locations, and they were just fine, but Jacksonville's location is tops. This is a romantic get-away-from it-all place. Leave the kids at home if they are under 13, they can't begin to appreciate the experience.
The view of the skyline and river is awesome and you never know what well-known person you may see. (No autograph seeking please!)
Beautiful scenery
But the continually cooking steak rubbed in salt doesn't appeal to everyone. The good news is that they are glad to leave the high quality cuts of meat plain and serve them on a conventional plate so that medium rare remains medium rare through the entire meal. I also find consistently that the potato dishes are undercooked so I don't order them.
Forget about the price~!
Ruth Chris steaks are out of this world, some would feel that the prices are out of this world as well. If you are looking for a "run of the mill steak", you can always go to Outback or any steak house for that matter. If you want a steak that just melts in your mouth, and service that is above the rest you need to go to Ruth Chris. The price for certain menu items will be expensive, if you have a date...spoil them. I was at the Ponta Vedra location even though parking was an issue I was in and out without a problem. AAAAA+

We have eaten at Ruth's several times; the steak is good but certainly not the "best". The price is startling for what
you get but that's a minor point. It lacks ambiance. Even though
its by the river it just dosen't "get it". There are many places I've enjoyed dinner without all the hassale and drive.
