PooPoo service,
By pilotbdass on 12/16/2007
Unless you are a blond in your early 20's with DD's. Plan on waiting all night for a drink. Was at the bar with money in hand trying to buy a drink and the bartenders refused to make eye contact and just kept "entertaining" the group of drunken bimbos at the other end of the bar. Had to finally ask a waitress as she walked by for a beer even though we were sitting at the bar. When we finally got your beer the bartender acted a little put out and upset that we asked the waitress. Then it took like 15 minutes to get our change. When I asked him about your change, he said, “ Oh, You wanted your change?” I guess he felt that a 60 percent tip was justified for his superior service. I don’t think so.

Just plain BAD Service
By thepeanut4 on 12/12/2007
I have a big problem with the Lee’s Summit Peanut. Reading these post just make me made all over again. The BLT is great. But I’ll never go back the way the bartenders treat people. I got the BLT and the bartender asked if I want fries, without thinking I said yes. Then I got the bill and he charged me for a basket of fries. When I pointed that out, he said that all sandwiches comes with chips, fries are extra. I said yeah but for $3.00. He said that how much fries cost. Then I said, well where are my chips then and he said, you substituted then for fries. I told him if you were going to charge me for a BASKET of fries I should have gotten a Basket! Instead I got what would consisted of a McDonald’s Happy Meal size fries. Yet I paid for a whole basket. And I didn’t get the chips. I was lucky though; my cousin fell for the same trick, but he got onion rings. He paid even more and only got 4 or 5 rings. That’s like 70 to 80 cents a ring. We went round and round with the guy, but he wasn’t going to budge. So if you go there, just be careful. They will try to rip you off. We ended up paying almost $12.00 for a BLT. Like I said it was pretty good, but not for almost $8.00. ***By the way, another important note. They do have what appear to be homemade chips on the menu. BUT that is not what you get when you order a sandwich. You get a small Grab Bag of Plain Lay’s Potato Chips. Be very careful of that trick too. Not All Peanuts are the same. The one in Shawnee Mission has great service and the owner is a really nice guy. Lee’s Summit is just horrible. Go someplace else.

great service and food. their wings should seriously win an award for best wings in the midwest. no one can compete and also try their cheese fries. best cheese sauce ever but get it on the side or your fries will get really soggy. YUMMY FOOD!
