XO Club/Oxygen   

I went with my neighbor this past weekend March 25. They had the street cut off soo it was a trek to the actual club. Gotta love how there are people in the back of the building letting people they "know" in for free!!! I was standing in line minding my own business and they sprayed mace into the air like it was hiarspray...riduclous for the patrons who were just trying to get in. But once my eyes stopped burning and I got in i saw some great s***!!! Great drinks, not a cup of ice and a splash of alcohol, DJ was great ALWAYS go home when a club lets out casue there is always more mace where the first can came from. Aside from the obvious " she looked at me funny in the club" girlfight" and "my bf just jumped in and now all the other dudes gotta jump in" fight it was great!!!!

I have been going to XO off and on since 2000. It was open Wed to Sat. Now it is open Thurs to Sat. They still have gay night and ladies night. Now for the past few weeks thay have had Friday night hip hop night. I went for the frist time on Friday the 5th of March. It was great. Drinks was great and a good price. It was free before 11pm but after that you had to have a VIP card(thank you Mary)They played good hip hop music. I did see a fight in the hall so I hope that the dumb as**es do not mess it up for the party people.

I've been to xo's alot of times and now i still go when they change it to Evolutions, i've go there all the time Saturdays mostly, or i go on other days when they have a guest DJ. I love it there i know everyone there, well most of them, Me and my friends go there all the time, I know most of the DJs, and most of the sercity guards, and the bartenders, check it out.

I'm new to KC...but all the review are from Last Year....is it worth a try now????
