While the old Granfalloon with its Formica green interior, bizarre smell and diverse patrons may have been the most populist bar on the elite Country Club Plaza, its new deluxe digs have changed all that. Sure the new building is just around the block from the old spot, but the polished wood interior, upstairs dining room, packed sports room and increased prices are worlds apart from the old place. Hey, it's still a great place to grab a beer -- you're just gonna have to dress up for it. It's also a good place to grab grub late at night to soak up your suds or just satisfy your midnight munchies. -- Brendan Walsh
