The Levee   

The Levee perches itself right in between Westport and the Plaza, a fitting symbol for a joint that suits all types of fun-seekers. Younger and older, richer and poorer all pour into The Levee for a taste of live music. Whether you want to funk, get blue, jazz it up or rock out, the manager brings in local bands and some national acts to keep your feet moving. College kids and CEOs eat it up, with the slightly older set filling the room early and the youngsters shutting the joint down. You can shake it on the small dance floor, but the truth is that dancing happens everywhere else too. And dancing is almost a necessity for the bands that take over The Levee.
