If you've been saving your parachute pants -- just in case they came back in style -- and wanting to pouf your bangs like in high school, then you may have found your new favorite night out at Funky Town. Join the crowds who pack the large dance floor, getting their groove on to the '70s and '80s classics the DJ spins nightly. The drinks are large and well-mixed, and everyone seems to be drinking plenty. If you're looking to meet someone new who's not afraid to have some fun, you'll definitely find them here. Fridays are Taco nights from 5 to 7pm, when you can get tacos for a dollar each and wash them down with dollar Coronas while you take in the weekly comedy skits. Funky Town tries hard to please everyone, and if you're a retro afficianado, you'll definitely be pleased. -- Kate Cagley

Funky Town is the best mix in town! You can party with old/young, fat/thin, guys/girls, every combo possible. Fun to go alone or bring a group. The zoo is where you go to watch the animals.......Funky Town is where you go to watch the people! Saturday Nights are the best night to go. Be prepaired to close the place down 2:30AM!! My first trip there my sister was escorted by the bouncer to the cages, where of course you haven't made it to "Funky Town" till you have danced in the cages. I met a cowboy with a belt buckle bigger than his head and wranglers that were wore high! Met mullet man and his mullet girl friend ....even saw picture of them in thier birthday suits! It is over a year ago since my first trip to good old Funky Town and I still look forward to seeing June the eclectic kool door bouncer (Love you June!) and all of my friends old and new! Be there Saturday Night!!!
