Located in downtown Kansas City's old garment district, this 100-year-old hotel is home to the oldest restaurant in KC, the Savoy Grill, and offers a variety of lodging quarters. The 22 rooms are spacious and feature 12-foot ceilings and eight-foot windows overlooking downtown. Breakfast is included in the price of the room, and ranges from lobster bisque to medallions of pork. What's also nice about the Savoy is its late check-out time, 1pm. You can live it up the night before and not feel rushed out in the morning. -- Brendan Walsh
