Vivace   

i dined alone for lunch at Vivace. Altho the food was good, it was not outstanding. The service was without a doubt the worst. I've had better servers at Applebees! My tea had no ice...then i had to ask for a refill. My food sat under the lights for more than 5 minutes, inlcuding my salad. It took me 20 minutes to get my check and a canoli to go....at an Italian place! But most disappointing were the "authentic" canolis. Shells so hard and cold you couldn't bite them Chocolate mousse was delicious but the "traditional" canoli was disgusting...maybe spoiled. First and last time at Vivace.

Outstanding menu, good service, and nice atmosphere. Great place to sit and drink at this one of a kind Ice Bar in the entire metropolitan area located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Just minutes from everywhere. I suggest you make a reservation, especially on weekends. If you are lucky you might even get the Host "Johnny Foo" to sing to you at your table!
