Benton's Steak & Chop House   

Located on the top floor of the Westin Crown Center Hotel, Benton's Steak & Chop House is home to some of Kansas City's best views, and as an added bonus, you'll probably like the food, too. Although the decor is a little dated, the service is lightning-fast and friendly. You'll be treated to some interesting showmanship along with your meal, as well. Start off with the complementary bucket of chilled shrimp, then move onto the large basket of fresh bread, including a yummy banana bread, and a garlic and herb butter you'll want to take home. Don't fill up yet, though. When your salad arrives, the server will prepare it tableside with a flourish. If you decide to make Benton's Steak & Chop House a birthday or anniversary stop, make sure to ask for your free Baked Alaska. No matter where you sit, you'll get a fabulous view of downtown or the Memorial and lots of impeccably prepared food. Definitely a place to impress a date.
