How do you keep a blonde busy all day? Put her in a round room and tell her to sit in the corner. How do you keep her busy all night? Put her in the Plaza's sleek nightspot and tell her to find the dance floor. But while looking for the dance floor that doesn't exist, this blonde at Blonde can groove through the stainless steel and granite tables and the demurely plush booths of the first floor of the former Frankie's space on the southeast end of the Plaza. And if she's there on the weekends, the groove will be all the easier, as a DJ spins cross-genre tunes. Adding to the atmosphere (and perhaps confusing the blonde's search for a dance floor) is artificially intelligent lighting that mixes the lighting to match the music. The crowd at Blonde also mixes sophisticated dress to match the sophisticated surroundings. Lines will often stretch around the corner, though even the dimmest of attractive blondes will find quick entry. But guys (and brunettes) if you can survive the elements, you will be rewarded with expertly-mixed drinks, substantial bar food and entry to Kansas City's unique club experience.
