Chappell's Restaurant & Sports   

This place is a sports fan's dream. Almost every square inch of surface space in Chappell's is covered with some form of sports memorabilia: autographed photos, Leroy Nieman paintings, trading cards, helmets, baseballs, jerseys, footballs, shoes and an actual World Series trophy. Owner Jim Chappell is very often willing to give tours, even into his office where he keeps his Babe Ruth autographed baseball. The food is above average, the drinks are extra stiff, and the Italian-American community that makes up North Kansas City is well represented among the employees. A great place to take out-of- towners or anyone who loves sports. -- Brendan Walsh
