Dish Pizza   

This family-friendly restaurant sports the famed pie recipes of Kansas City's own neighbors to the northeast, Chicago, with a few new tricks up its sleeve. Dish serves up a made-to-order pasta bar from 11AM- 2PM on weekdays, complete with a chef on hand to attend to the whims of every appetite. For the die-hard pizza connoisseur, don't fret. It's also featured on the lunch buffet, and all for $7.99. The dinner crowd primarily seeks out the celebrated deep-dish pizza, but Dish also has a wide selection of pastas and sandwiches, like the popular Hot Italian Beef Rolls. Restaurant-goers can run with typical Chicago selections, or choose one of Dish's own variations, like chicken breast and spinach pizza. Order the stuffed crust with mozzarella or be bold and try it with feta. The atmosphere is casual enough for kids, but with a fully partitioned, full-service bar tucked away, it can support an adult crowd just as well.
