Lidia's features authentic, Northern-Italian dishes. Every item at the restaurant is house-made, entirely from scratch, with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh. Every day Lidia's offer a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas, as well as risotto and polenta dishes. Plates are refilled as often as you like by servers carrying pans of freshly cooked pasta through the dining room.

Lidia's is exceptional
My husband and I eat there regularly. The food is fantastic and for those on a budget they offer a fantastic "Tuscan Dinner" on Monday nights for a very reasonable price-- multi course and can choose to have wine pairings. The wine list is fairly extensive and also has a page of wines for $29 per bottle. The atmosphere is amazing. We had our rehearsal dinner of 50+ people at Lidia's and cannot speak highly enough. Anyone who thinks the food is bad probably thinks spaghetti and meatballs are quality Italian food and there are only three types of pasta sauce- red, white and meat.

I was in KC area with the NYARNG several years ago and came across Lidia's restaurant. Being from the NYC area I suggested Lidia's to some of my fellow soldiers. Needless to say we were all satisfied with the food and service. Prices were great also, not as much as NYC.
