Lidia's features authentic, Northern-Italian dishes. Every item at the restaurant is house-made, entirely from scratch, with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh. Every day Lidia's offer a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas, as well as risotto and polenta dishes. Plates are refilled as often as you like by servers carrying pans of freshly cooked pasta through the dining room.

Lida's is absolutely wonderful and the service is supherb! We live in Illinois not too far from Chicago and nothing here is like Lidia's. When we visit our son in K.C. we usually go to Lidia's to eat. When citywoman says the quantity is not enough for the price, what is she an elephant? We always take home food and it is dellicious the next day. I have recommended it to many people from Illinois who will be traveling and staying in K.C. and several have gone to Lidia's and thanked me for the tip as they thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Fantastic restaurant
Wow! Awesome food coupled with the most beautiful setting indoors in KC. Highly recommend the pear/gorgonzola salad, pasta trio and one of their awesome desserts.
