Situated along the Tennessee River, Calhoun's downtown location is the perfect place to feast on the area's best ribs while taking in the excellent view. The well-known Copper Cellar Corporation chain, however, is no secret, and for this reason can become quite popular at lunchtime, especially among the downtown work crowd. Specialties include hickory-smoked baby- back ribs, smoked prime rib and grilled steak. Every weekday from 4pm to 7pm, customers can unwind from a hard day's work with half-price liquor drinks, 50-cent bottled beers and half- price microbrew draughts. Check out the restaurant's Web site for monthly recipes such as the truly unusual White Chili.

had the ribs
I had the ribs, and my wife had the filet. The ribs where good, but I can not say the best I ever had. Stick to the better steak house for a good steak- Peerless, Flemmings. Filet was a thumbs down. Clean cut atmosphere. The pizza is oddly was very good for a appetizer- Not expected in a BBQ place.

Good atmosphere, great ribs, steaks, appetizers. A little pricey. EXCELLENT micro-brewed beers. Age bracket is late 20's up.

I worked there for over 2 years. I know every recipe and was Known as the "Bicuit Queen"! I had the honor of meeting Payton Manning while he was still at UT. He wanted to know who was making the "cat head" biscuits. That would be me. Everything I did was by the book. My chantilly cream was the best. I even caught extra hours staying late to pick pork butts!! What a blast to work there.
