One of the best places to find a decent pint in Lafayette, the Brewing Company offers unusual microbrews, rare seasonals, offbeat imports and earthy hand-drawns served up in an unfussy, down- to-earth setting. Basic pub grub, the perfect accompaniment to your choice of brew, is also available. Of course, a few items stand out: I hereby nominate the Habanero Hot Wings as one of the hottest dishes I've ever eaten (not that that's a bad thing). If you decide to go this route, you might want to line your stomach with a soothing veggie or cheese appetizer. The Armenian Chicken Sandwich on pita bread is remarkable, too, as long as you insist upon the option of adding fresh mushrooms and feta. Otherwise, it's just a plain old chicken sandwich.
