Alex, Wynn Resort's French influenced restaurant, caters to high-end clientele. The 162-seat dining room is luxurious, with mahogany woods throughout, a sweeping staircase and a beautiful Japanese garden. The dimly-lit main dining area provides a touch of romance that is ideally suited for couples celebrating special occasions, while two well-appointed private dining rooms with terraces that overlook the resort's Lake of Dreams is where larger groups gather. Led by Executive Chef Alessandro Stratta, the restaurant offers patrons a pricey prix-fixe menu with optional wine pairings. Diners can choose from innovate dishes such as daurade royal Provencal, foie gras ravioli in truffle bouillon with duck confit salad and spring lamb with persillade and boulangere potatoes. The dessert menu is equally impressive, featuring nearly a dozen decadent desserts.

Absolutely the Best Experience

I have been to Alex on three different times while visiting Vegas and have to say that Alex's has to be the very best experience ever. The food and service has been absolutely superb. The overall experience is worth every dime paid.

Have eaten at Alex 3 times since they have opened, all 3 have been jaw-dropping. Never served a single course that did not taste great on it's own. Do the wine pairings and you will not be disapointed. The Maitre'd, Stuart, does a fabulous job every night. Has kept many of his loyal staff from Renoir's and they are perfect at all times. Chef Stratta is a master in all phases of this new Wynn creation. Make time for this place every time you plan a trip to Vegas.

pleasant service (but expensive $500. bottle of wine was suggested and pushed upon my guest) very expensive very small portions limited menu i did not care for my appet. salad was boring and uneventful main course was also nothing to get excited about deserts were fine dark pretencious atmosphere final bill was $490.00 before tip! (2 people) much too much to pay for this type of meal this is my memory of my dining experience except for the atmosphere and attentive srevice the food part of this meal should not qualify alex for a listing of "top" restaurants in vegas there are so many better places to go to experience fine dining in vegas
