The backstop is a great place to drink dance or shoot pool. There's no gambling so you don't have to worry about spending more than you'd hoped when you left home or get your better half mad at you for just sitting at that " damn machine". Fri. and Sat. there's live music from 10 till ? and the prices are reasonable, with no cover. Personally, I think there's more pretty women in boulder city than not pretty and they're friendly and very unsnobbish. There's two pool tables, a foosball table and shuffleboard, a large patio and cozy booths in case you find someone you want to get to know better. It's worth the drive from Vegas and many nice hotels better priced than in the city, if you have to much to drink or for other things.
