Lunch was the worst
By sunrisegsd on 08/25/2006
We used to love Carson Street but on the last trip 8-20-06 we had lunch and it was deplorable. Landry's is a Resateraunt chain so we expected that the food would be the same or even better than in the previous visits. I had Fish and Chips that were an oily mess with 80% batter and grey strip of fish inside. The chips were hard and tastless. My wife had fried shrimp that were dark brown (overcooked) and very hard. We did have a great breakfast here two days latter, wanted to use all of our comp allowance. I also heard numerous others complaining about the drop in quality from the old Nugget. The new pool wasn't open yet but it looks like it will be fabulous.

Great restaraunt, great food, great service, coffee shop prices. In-house bakery is a great idea.
