Rate and Write a Review 'Casino Royale' may be the name of a James Bond movie, but it's also the name of a hotel on the Vegas Strip. And although you won't find 007 sitting at any of the tables at Casino Royale, his spirit hovers around the gaming area as stylish patrons and millionaire wannabes try their hand at lady luck. In actuality, no one's going to win a ton of money at Casino Royale -- at least not at the nickel slots and 25-cent roulette tables that pepper the gaming area. This place is for the budget-conscious, and when it comes to that, Casino Royale fits the bill. Situated between Harrah's and The Venetian, and directly across from The Mirage, this place is right in the center of all the action, although it's much less grandiose than those mega-resorts that now line the Strip. Casino Royale offers 150 rooms, and although it may be small, it certainly offers more amenities than most hotels its size. Accommodations are smoking or non-smoking, and include king or double-double beds, complimentary in-room safe, coffee maker and refreshment center. The casino features over 500 slot and video machines and a variety of table games including blackjack, Pai Gow poker and roulette. What the casino lacks in luxury, it certainly makes up for in spirit. Guests enjoy the casinos swing music and party atmosphere (the emcee is a real hoot!). Dining choices are excellent for guests on a budget as well; the casino features a 24-hour Denny's, a Subway and the upscale Cafe Trilussa, which serves authentic Italian specialties ranging from prime rib to lobster. And if you need something to wash it all down, just make sure your martini's shaken, and not stirred.
