When the Rio set out to join the growing ultra-lounge trend, it wanted a concept to elevate it from the rest. So the hotel-casino hired 10 models to ensure I-Bar's success - the sleek update to the lobby's previous Ipanema Lounge got its dancers some flesh-colored outfits designed to show off plenty of cleavage, a few tables to groove on, and voila! Although the stunning I-Girls leave your eyes trained on nothing else, the lounge's full bar includes 12 specialty cocktails to tempt fruity palates: Peachy Keen, Passion Pulse and Tropical Hypnosis are just a few of the choices. Further enhancing the mood are plasma screens that feature the sounds of the Rat Pack by day, Moby and Jamiroquai by night. The accompanying images on the screens also grow more sensual with the passing hours. Despite the circular bar's futuristic feel and plentiful seating, however, the friendly I-Girls are its best feature, and the Rio certainly follows that time-worn wisdom: when you've got it, flaunt it.
