The mega resorts aren't the only place to get good grub on the Strip. Located near Mandalay Bay on the southern tip of Las Vegas Boulevard, the Laughing Jackalope offers tourists and locals a unique and affordable dining option that won't be found in the pricey resorts. What the restaurant may lack in glitz and glamour, it easily makes up for in the kitchen. Famous for its mammoth one-pound "monster burger", the Laughing Jackalope is one restaurant that won't send you home hungry. Made with 100 percent USDA ground beef, the behemoth is served on an oversized bun and topped with your choice of fresh toppings. Standard bar fare rounds out the menu. A full service bar located inside the restaurant features a full line up of cocktails, along with an impressive selection of 17 import and domestic beers on tap.

Save your money and time

This place is the seediest video poker bar on the strip. The parking lot out front is usually empty except for the bar employees cars. Why? The place puts a lot of hype on it's "huge" hamburgers. Well, bite into one and gag on some of the worst ground chuck or whatever you ever tasted. The mayo didn't taste fresh and the lettuce was wilted too. If you smother it in ketchup after drinking a few dozen beers you probably won't notice or care about the quality of the food. The bar USED to have some pretty neat drink specials but those went out the window about November, 2004. Try some real class and walk across the street to Mandalay Bay where you will find something worth your money and time on the strip.

Reminds me of a European style pub with the bar in the middle and tables all around. Food is awesome, and so is the selection of beers. Great location on the strip and the bartenders are very friendly.

15 draft beer selections 20 oz drafts Tatsy Dishes,Include a house Speciality.. Druncken Chicken" Weekends are crowded. Live music on fridays starting at 9 pm.Mixed crowd 22-40.

I love the Laughing Jackalope! After I get off my plan from los angeles I go Straight to the Laughing Jackalope for a drink and some eats. It is such a blast!! The staff is incredible , they really know how to show the customers a great time!
