Named after Steve Wynn's business partner Kazuu Okada, this upscale Japanese restaurant offers diners a fresh alternative to standard Asian fare. Open for dinner seven nights a week, Okada's chefs create innovative dishes that blend French techniques with Japanese influences and fresh American ingredients. Soups and salads make a nice addition to any meal, while more pricey appetizers like chilled Japanese oysters and lobster are great to share with an entire table. If money is no object, the caviar tasting might well be worth the expenditure. Okada's entrees are led by signature dishes that include baked sweet sake black cod and braised short ribs. A full service bar runs the length of one wall and offers patrons a comfortable place for pre- or post-dinner cocktails. In the dining room, you'll find circular tables made from solid wood and great for group gatherings. The 207-seat restaurant features many attractive design elements including a private Japanese garden, robatayaki and teppanyaki grills, and a floating pagoda table with views of the lagoon.
