Screwballs Sports Lounge   

Look for the jolly totem-pole man outside an otherwise nondescript suburban building and you've found Screwballs, meeting ground for sports enthusiasts of every stripe and denomination. The 5,000-square-foot establishment has plenty of room for everyone, whether they're cheering on their college basketball team, betting on NASCAR races, or meeting up with fellow soccer fans from across the sea. There are approximately 20 televisions on the premises, most of them big-screen. As for the folks glued to them, they run the gamut from Los Angeles ex-pats (hard to stop loving those Lakers, even once you move), to pool sharks, businessmen and local Harley dudes. The food here is simple and served 'round the clock. Choices include prime rib, submarine sandwiches, breakfast or deep-fried bar nibbles.
