Trump International Hotel   

The Trump Hotel is a great place to stay. 1. The view was wonderful and I enjoyed the lights of the Strip and city. 2. The rates were excellent and I saved more than $1000 per night had I been staying in a 1 bedroom suite at the Casinos. 3. Food --- ah - the food was far too good and I ate too much! 4. The room was very nice and the bathroom was beautiful. How nice to have a full size refrigerator in the room. 5. The pool and cafe was a happy setting with upbeat music and accomodating staff. 6. Overall - the Trump Hotel was much more than we expected and we will be staying there whenever we go to Las Vegas. What a wonderful "best kept secret" to be discovered.

TRUMP'S WORST MISTAKE EVER! TRAINS IN THE BEDROOMS!!! Donald Trump built the hotel-condo Trump International Tower and saw reservations sell out, but a year on has managed to close on just 23 percent of the 1,286 units. His second tower has been postponed indefinitely. MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I've just returned from Trump Int'l Las Vegas, and it's been THE worst experience of my life!!! First, they lied to me at every turn when I reserved the two rooms--told me ANYTHING to get my money. When I got there, EVERYTHING they promosed was a lie. They added TWO $15-per-day fees to EACH room (resort fee) without telling me, even though I inquired. The hotel is located in an industrial area right next to train tracks...and TRAINS blow their ghastly horns all night every night--like HOURLY--sometimes four or five blasts at a time. Trump manager reluctantly moved us to the 42nd floor, and it was just as bad up there. There is no soundproofing in the hotel. The maid service is dreadful, and the bathrooms had bugs in them. One potty seat was broken, and it was necessary to tip a maid to bring toilet tissue--it's SUPPOSED to be there already! The bed was so hard that I ended up sleeping on the couch (an hour at a time in between train blasts!!! )The facility itself looks posh, but it ends there. I was told to arrive early and they'd upgrade us to a Strip-View room. Check out all of Trump's pictures with full strip view in the windows. Folks, there is NO strip view from the Trump!!! And they will charge you $50 for NOTHING! Trump Hotel is a couple blocks away from the strip in the industrial district. From one side we saw tops of industrial buildings, from the 'strip side' we saw the top of Circus Circus!!! That's it. More lies from them. They're masters at using Paintshop Pro to make everything look good--that's FRAUD!!! They sent me pictures of the rooms we'd have (two of them) and, when we arrived, we were put in other rooms--nowhere close to the pictures they sent. When I called it to their attention, they said, "Oh that's a mistake but we'll 'upgrade' you for an additional $100/day." Isn't that called 'false advertising?" I could go on for days about the trip they absolutely ruined for us, but I just walked in the door at home and it's 2:AM...the first thing I did was to come to my computer and tell all of you--companies, condo buyers--EVERYONE!!! Do NOT get roped into the TRUMP INTERNATIONAL LAS VEGAS SCAM!!! It looks beautiful and has some very posh things to entice you, but IT IS NO BARGAIN!!!
