The CourseWith its vast driving range, putting course, Cloud Nine course, a broad Palms course and a narrower, more difficult Mountain course, Angel Park is a good overall range. Outside patio dining makes it seem more like a country club than a public golf course. Resident cardholders can play for about $50 at a twilight rate at one end and visitors on weekends for $140 on the other end of the cost spectrum. The ExperienceFor the traditional golfer, you can pick your poison on the championship courses. The Mountain course resembles a traditional European stadium-style course: All holes run uphill east-west or downhill west-east. The Palms course is primarily north-south with varying changes in elevation. Both courses are long enough to challenge any player, yet all holes are reachable (as long as you stay in the fairway).
